January 7, 2008 : The Past, Present and Future Lung

A few months ago I Heart Lung participated in a lengthy interview with Seattle-based writer Dave Cantor. Read it. It’s good.

Currently, we are finishing Interoceans. It is four tracks/fourty minutes long. Joining the Lung on Interoceans are Nels Cline (electric guitar and sitar), Lynn Johnston (clarinet and bass clarinet), Dave Easley (pedal steel guitar), Kris Tiner (trumpet), Aaron Ximm (field recordings). Vinyl, CD and digital versions of the album are scheduled to be released on Asthmatic Kitty Records with a full US tour scheduled for the fall of 2008.

To ring in the new y(ear), we are releasing a full concert recording for free. We hope you enjoy it.
